All of my bracelets, malas and necklaces are handmade and knotted by me, created in a meditative state, made with love, infused with Reiki and mantras or with essential oils upon request. The malas you see in the listings are just the samples, you will receive another mala - just as beautiful as the one in the photo.
I'm using natural materials only: silk, cotton and natural semi-precious gemstones. If, for any reason, the materials used are not natural, it will be mentioned in the mala description. I provide vegan options upon request.
I consider mala-making to be my personal meditation. I will be more than happy to infuse your mala with a mantra of your choice or with essential oils too, if that is your wish. I cleanse the crystals before shipping with either palo santo or sage and charge them with Reiki.

Frequently asked questions
What is a mala?
Buddhist prayer beads or malas (Sanskrit: mālā "garland") are a traditional tool used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths while meditating or the repetitions of a buddha's name. This practice is called japa in Sanskrit. Malas are typically made with 18, 27, 54 or 108 beads, although it is naturally up to the mala owner to choose the number of beads. It is believed that a mala, when used, accumulates the energy, mantras and intentions repeated with every bead during the meditation. It will carry the energy and empower you in your everyday life. You don't have to be religious or have any spiritual practice. You can wear them around your wrist, your neck, place the beads at your altar or meditate using your mala.
How to choose a mala?
Are you trying to connect with your perfect set of mala beads, but don’t know where to start? I've often heard that the mala that you're drawn to first is the one you're meant to have. Allow yourself to be lead by your heart and intuition, don't resist your first impulse. Once you find yourself eyeing a particular mala, read the description and the gemstone meanings. Chances are high that it will be exactly what you are needing in that moment.
When searching for your perfect beads, I recommend to concentrate on your intention. “What is my intention? What am I trying to manifest?" Set your intentions and let your intuition guide you.
How to meditate with a mala?
If you want to to meditate using your mala, pick a mantra or a personal intention. A mantra is a word or phrase repeated to aid your concentration. It can be as simple as a personal intention or a sanskrit phrase. Each bead of the mala represents one repetition of your mantra or intention. To count your mantras, hold your mala in your left hand and turn each bead with your thumb and middle finger. Continue, until you reach a count of 7, 21, 27 or 108. The index finger is believed to represent 'ego' and is not recommended to turn the beads. Going all the way around your mala, you will reach the guru bead - never continue over the guru bead out of respect for your teachers. Instead, turn the mala around and continue in the opposite direction.
How to cleanse and charge the crystals?
I do recommend regular cleansing of your mala, especially if you are wearing it everyday close to your skin. Crystals accumulate vibrations and energy. You can cleanse them by smudging with sage or palo santo or by letting them rest under a plant - it can be a potted plant. Placing the mala in the moonlight or in a bowl of salt will also cleanse it. A crystal needs to be activated to start working. Hold the mala in your hands and picture light surrounding you and your mala to activate its energies. Think of your mala beads like little batteries. They need to be recharged from time to time in order for the energy to keep moving and vibrating properly. Placing your yoga beads in the sunlight or the moonlight for a few hours can help charge.
How to choose the correct bracelet size?
Measure your wrist! You can do so with a piece of string and a ruler. Just wrap the string around your wrist, just as you'd want your bracelet to be. Measure the cord with a ruler. Make it snug or loose, just how you want it. Please let me know if you'd like the bracelet to fit more snugly, or if it should be a bit loose.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Your new healing crystal mala or bracelet will be shipped to you in a linen pouch and a tiny recycled cardboard box. Crystal descriptions and care instructions are included in every package. I love packaging the malas, so they will arrive packaged as gifts - from me to you or your special someone.
Where is the tracking number of my package?
All of the orders - national and international orders are always sent via registered mail and you will receive your tracking number from me right after I ship the item. You will receive an automated Etsy shipping notification.
Please have a look at the spam folder of your mailbox, if you haven't received the email, Etsy shipping confirmation might have landed there. Tracking information will also be available in your order summary.
How to take care of your mala?
Remember that all of the malas are hand-knotted either on a silk thread or strung on a strong elastic cord. Be mindful with your mala - any physical activity, overstretching the cord, swimming or bathing, regular jogging, jumping with your mala on your neck might lead to the knot or cord breakage. Overstretching your mala bracelets and wrist malas might also lead to their breakage. Do not dip the knotted malas in water, the silk might lose its colour and the knots might break easier.
